IARN is a foster-based rescue, not an open-intake shelter. Submitting a request does not guarantee intake, placement, or a new home. Availability depends on our resources and the animal’s needs.
Please keep your pet in safe, confirmed care while you explore options. Contact us before making arrangements to surrender an animal.
- Gather the details. Have your pet’s age, medical records, current photos, and care needs ready.
- Be honest about health and behavior. Include known medical concerns, bite history, and how your pet does with people and other animals.
- Explain your timeline. Tell us why rehoming is needed and whether there is a specific deadline.
